Transitioning from Windows 10 to Windows 11 23H2 just got a whole lot easier, thanks to Microsoft’s latest update. The tech giant has simplified the upgrade process, allowing all Windows 10 users to directly move to Windows 11 23H2 without the need for an intermediary upgrade to Windows 11 22H2.
This change eliminates the hassle and time-consuming steps previously required, making the transition smoother and more efficient. Although Microsoft hasn’t formally announced this update, it’s already underway on the server side.
By bypassing the upgrade to Windows 11 22H2, users can expedite their transition to the latest version of Windows 11. However, some users may still encounter the need for this intermediate step. If direct upgrading isn’t available on your Windows 10 device yet, you’ll need to perform an additional system update after transitioning to Windows 11.
As Windows 10 approaches its end-of-life phase in 2025, Microsoft is prioritizing seamless transitions to Windows 11. This strategic move aligns with the company’s efforts to boost Windows 11 adoption, particularly as it aims to extend support for Windows 11 23H2 until November 2025.
