Microsoft is making strides in enhancing the Microsoft Store, testing a new product page experience just months after August’s updates to the Downloads and Library sections. Initially available to Windows Insiders, these updates are expected to “start rolling out to non-Insiders soon,” as noted on the Windows Insider blog.
The redesigned product page experience emphasizes a more visual approach, with trailers for apps and games now viewable directly on their product pages. When a trailer isn’t provided, a large hero image will take its place. Users who prefer to disable autoplay can adjust this in the settings, and the changes are supported across both dark and light modes for a more cohesive feel.
As Microsoft prepares to launch a promised speed boost, these recent updates reflect a commitment to a more user-friendly Microsoft Store, with additional enhancements likely in the near future.
