ChatGPT Adds Task Scheduling with New Beta Feature
OpenAI has launched a new Tasks feature for ChatGPT, allowing users to schedule activities and receive proactive assistance from the AI chatbot. This enhancement brings convenience to daily routines, as ChatGPT can now execute pre-set instructions at specific times.
Examples of Tasks include morning updates on stock prices, evening language learning reminders, or even custom daily workout sessions. By enabling these scheduled activities, ChatGPT steps into the role of a more dynamic, personalized virtual assistant.
The feature is currently available in beta for Plus, Team, and Pro subscribers, found in the model selector as “GPT-4o with Scheduled Activities (beta)”. OpenAI plans to roll out this feature to all ChatGPT users in the near future, broadening access to its capabilities.
This innovation underscores OpenAI’s commitment to expanding ChatGPT’s functionality, providing users with tools to streamline their lives and enhance productivity.
