Nvidia’s GeForce Now has carved out a special place in the gaming world by allowing PC gamers to stream titles they already own on popular platforms like Steam and Epic, rather than paying for a separate library. Since its inception, the service has steadily expanded, and today, it can stream over 2,000 PC games, a significant achievement in cloud gaming.
I reviewed Nvidia’s promotional list of supported games, and it’s worth noting that there’s no double-counting of titles across different storefronts. The list is straightforward, with each game listed only once, regardless of how many platforms it’s available on. This week’s update adds the early access version of Stormgate, a real-time strategy game, along with future releases like Star Wars Outlaws and Black Myth: Wukong.
To access a game on GeForce Now, you must already own it and link it to a compatible storefront. Once that’s done, you can stream your games from Nvidia’s servers using their PC app, mobile app, or a web browser. This makes it an excellent solution for streaming high-end games on devices like the Steam Deck. Free users can enjoy 1-hour sessions with ads, but upgrading to a paid tier unlocks better graphics, longer playtime, and an ad-free experience, with prices starting at $10 per month or $5 during the current sale.
