Sight Machine has unveiled a groundbreaking manufacturing data solution tailored for seamless integration with Microsoft Fabric. This innovative solution integrates Sight Machine’s robust data and analytics tools, including Factory Copilot, into Microsoft Fabric, enabling organizations to harness the power of contextualized manufacturing data alongside financial, supply chain, ERP, and MES data.
Jon Sobel, CEO and Co-founder of Sight Machine, emphasized the transformative impact of this integration, stating, “Industrial companies have long struggled to incorporate plant floor data into their enterprise data estate. With Sight Machine on Microsoft Fabric, companies can now leverage plant floor data with the same ease and efficacy as other data sources. This enables global production optimization, equipment performance analysis, downtime risk assessment, real-time order status monitoring, and dynamic order routing, all in a truly data-driven manner.”
Furthermore, Sight Machine’s Factory Transform component, designed to convert factory data into AI-ready models of the production process, is now available for integration by other independent software vendors (ISVs) on Microsoft Cloud for Manufacturing. This expansion enhances the accessibility and scalability of Sight Machine’s transformative capabilities, further accelerating the adoption of smart manufacturing practices.
Dominik Wee, Corporate Vice President of Manufacturing and Mobility at Microsoft, highlighted the significance of manufacturing data solutions within Microsoft Fabric, stating, “By enabling industrial customers to seamlessly integrate AI-ready Sight Machine data into their data estates, Microsoft Fabric facilitates enterprise-wide utilization of contextualized production data. This represents a significant step forward in realizing the promise of smart manufacturing.”
