Apple’s MLS Season Pass for 2025 is bringing a host of exciting new features, including a brand-new production studio and a weekly Sunday Night Soccer program, aimed at enhancing the soccer viewing experience. While the pricing remains unchanged for the season, there are a few notable deals available for subscribers of Comcast’s Xfinity, T-Mobile, and DirecTV.
The 2025 MLS season is scheduled to begin on February 22, with select preseason matches available to stream starting on February 11. The price for MLS Season Pass stays at $14.99 per month or $99 for the full season. Apple TV+ subscribers, however, can take advantage of a discounted rate of $12.99 per month or $79 for the full season.
One of the standout new additions for the 2025 season is Sunday Night Soccer. This weekly marquee matchup will feature top MLS teams in an enhanced production setting, complete with pre- and post-game shows, plus a dedicated studio to provide in-depth analysis. The first match to kick off this program will be between San Diego FC, the league’s newest team, and the reigning MLS Cup champions, LA Galaxy, on February 23 at 7:00 p.m. Eastern. These Sunday Night Soccer matches will be free for Apple TV+ subscribers and feature English-language commentary from Jake Zivin, Taylor Twellman, and Andrew Wiebe, along with a Spanish-language broadcast hosted by Sammy Sadovnik and Diego Valeri.
Another exciting development for the 2025 season is the relocation of MLS Productions to a new 30,000-square-foot studio at WWE’s headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut. This new space will serve as the hub for the league’s coverage, offering a more professional and expansive production environment.
Alongside these exciting updates, Apple has partnered with several major companies to offer MLS Season Pass promotions. T-Mobile subscribers can access the season pass for free through a promotional offer in the T-Mobile Tuesdays section of the T-Life app, starting February 18. Comcast’s Xfinity customers will enjoy an integrated MLS Season Pass experience directly through their Xfinity interface, along with free access to the MLS 360 whip-around show. DirecTV customers will be able to preview MLS Season Pass for free from February 22 to March 1.
With MLS Season Pass now integrated into Apple’s broader ecosystem, including Apple Sports, Apple Music, Apple News, and Apple Podcasts, the platform is enhancing its position as a comprehensive sports streaming service. This is the third year of the 10-year deal between Apple and Major League Soccer, and it’s clear that Apple is committed to expanding its sports offerings with each new season.
