Schneider Electric has partnered with Microsoft Azure OpenAI to develop various AI-powered solutions that enhance productivity, operational efficiency, and sustainability.Among these solutions are Jo-Chat GPT, a conversational assistant for employees, a Knowledge Bot for customer service representatives, and a Financial Advisor chatbot for finance and accounting teams.
These services have improved operational processes, resource allocation, and time-consuming tasks. Schneider Electric has also utilized Azure OpenAI to build a conversational search feature for customers and a secure Resource Advisor Copilot for advanced data analytics and decision support.
“Microsoft Azure OpenAI allows Schneider to develop agile, scalable, cost-effective and AI-powered solutions which are in line with our shared ambitions for a sustainable and digitalised future,” said Dominik Wee, corporate vice president of manufacturing and mobility at Microsoft.
Future plans include implementing Sale Copilot for frontline workers and integrating Github Copilot to streamline bid creation processes. The company’s generative AI team collaborates with stakeholders to explore new applications and has identified over 200 potential use cases.
“Generative artificial intelligence is a game-changer, and we are investing in this technology,” said Philippe Rambach, chief AI officer at Schneider Electric. “It has already allowed us to enhance internal productivity, and it aligns perfectly with our commitment to continuous improvement and impactful innovation focused on sustainability.”
