Corsair Unveils EX400U SSDs and Xeneon Edge Touchscreen at CES
SSDs have long been essential for gamers looking to speed up their PCs, but Corsair aims to make portable storage just as compelling with its new EX400U portable SSDs. Announced at CES, this series combines top-tier performance with a compact, MagSafe-compatible design.
The EX400U, shaped like a tiny tin of mints, measures 64mm wide and 12mm thick, making it incredibly portable. Designed to attach to iPhones via MagSafe, it features a single USB-C port compatible with USB4 and Thunderbolt 4. With up to 4000MB/s read speeds and 3600MB/s write speeds, it promises rapid data transfers, outperforming older external drives. Pricing is set at $140 for 1TB, $200 for 2TB, and $360 for 4TB, with availability starting January 23rd.
Corsair also showcased the Xeneon Edge, a 14.5-inch ultra-wide touchscreen with a 2560×720 resolution, ideal for widgets, interactive controls, or secondary display use. This flexible screen can connect via USB-C DP-Alt mode or HDMI and can be mounted horizontally, vertically, or even inside a PC case as a 360mm radiator replacement. Scheduled for a mid-2025 release, the Xeneon Edge is poised to bring creativity and functionality to gaming setups.
Both products highlight Corsair’s focus on innovation, offering gamers new ways to enhance their systems.
