OpenAI has announced the rollout of a new annual recap feature for ChatGPT users, dubbed “Your Year with ChatGPT.” Inspired by Spotify Wrapped, the summary is designed to give users a personalized overview of how they interacted with ChatGPT over the past year, highlighting usage patterns and engagement trends.
The feature breaks down a wide range of statistics, including the total number of messages sent, the number of chats created, and an analysis of overall chat style. Users can also see which day they interacted with ChatGPT the most, how many images they generated throughout the year, and even how many long dashes or extended responses those interactions produced.
At launch, “Your Year with ChatGPT” is rolling out gradually to users in the US, UK, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia. Access is limited to users who have both reference memory saved and chat history enabled, and it also requires the latest version of the ChatGPT app. OpenAI has not yet confirmed when the feature will expand to additional regions.
