Ultrawide OLED monitors are already expensive, and once you start pushing screen size past the usual 34-inch range, prices normally skyrocket. That’s what makes this current deal stand out. B&H is selling Acer’s massive 39-inch Predator X39 OLED gaming monitor for $699.99, a staggering $800 discount that slashes the price by more than half. For a display of this size and caliber, that’s an unusually aggressive cut.
The Predator X39 takes the familiar 3440×1440 ultrawide resolution and stretches it across a much larger 39-inch panel, delivering an expansive field of view without the GPU strain of full 4K. Despite its size, the gaming specs remain firmly high-end. The monitor boasts a 240Hz refresh rate paired with a blisteringly fast 0.01ms response time, making it more than capable of handling competitive shooters and fast-paced action games. It also includes USB-C video with up to 90W of power delivery, which makes it especially appealing for gaming laptops, along with additional USB ports that support a software-based KVM setup.
That said, the Predator X39 isn’t a perfect all-rounder. Its aggressive 800R curve—extremely curved by monitor standards—makes it less suitable for productivity-focused tasks or shared office environments. The larger panel also adds significant weight, meaning users may need a heavy-duty monitor arm to mount it safely. Built-in speakers are present, but as expected for gaming monitors, they’re best ignored in favor of proper external audio.
Even with those caveats, this deal puts a gigantic OLED ultrawide within reach at a price rarely seen. For gamers who want an immersive OLED experience without jumping to 4K and hammering their GPU, the Predator X39 at $699.99 is an exceptional value.
