Samsung recently emphasized the role of AI in making technology more accessible and reliable. “We believe AI should be something people can depend on every day, designed to work consistently for everyone and without the need for expertise,” said TM Roh, CEO and President of the Device eXperience Division at Samsung Electronics. This vision is central to the Galaxy S26 series, where AI powers smarter camera features, battery management, and user interactions across all models.
While AI is a shared feature, the three models—the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra—differ significantly in specifications and performance. The base Galaxy S26 offers a 6.3-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, 12GB of RAM, and dual storage options up to 256GB. Its triple rear camera system captures 8K video at 30fps, while the battery supports 55% fast charging in 30 minutes, making it a solid option for everyday users who want flagship-level reliability without overspending.
The Galaxy S26 Plus takes things a step further with a 6.7-inch QHD+ display, slightly larger 4,900mAh battery with faster charging (69% in 30 minutes), and storage options up to 512GB. Like the base model, it runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy or Exynos 2600 depending on the region, and includes AI-powered camera features. The Plus also offers a larger screen and improved endurance, making it ideal for media consumption and gaming enthusiasts.
At the top of the lineup, the Galaxy S26 Ultra features a massive 6.9-inch QHD+ AMOLED display, a 200MP primary camera with enhanced AI imaging, and an optional 16GB RAM with up to 1TB of storage. Its 5,000mAh battery charges 75% in just 30 minutes, and it supports advanced video capture at 4K 120fps. With the same Android 16 – One UI 8.5, all three phones offer IP68 durability and a variety of color options, but the Ultra is clearly aimed at users who want the ultimate performance, photography, and display experience.
