Displace is using CES to showcase an ambitious new approach to large-format televisions with the Displace Wall, a modular 4K OLED TV system designed to eliminate the complexity typically associated with mounting massive, multi-panel displays. Unlike traditional video walls that require extensive mounting hardware, in-wall wiring, external controllers, and even custom-built walls to hide cables, the Displace Wall is designed to be installed in as little as 30 minutes without drilling or additional construction. Available in 110-inch and 130-inch configurations—made up of four 55-inch or four 65-inch OLED panels, respectively—the system relies on a custom frame featuring “active-loop” suction technology, allowing the panels to adhere directly to the wall surface.
Beyond its tool-free installation, the Displace Wall also simplifies connectivity and power requirements. Each panel includes built-in video wall processing, eliminating the need for external video controllers, while a single “host” display manages connections for the entire array. Power is supplied via removable 10,000 mAh, 46.8-volt batteries, allowing the system to operate without visible power cables, although Displace has yet to confirm real-world battery life. Running on Displace OS 2.0, the system supports ambient computing features, gesture-based controls, and flexible layouts that allow a single ultra-large image or multiple video feeds to be displayed simultaneously. Internally, the system is powered by an Intel N-300 eight-core processor, paired with 32GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, with panel resolutions scaling up to an eye-catching 40K at 30Hz. Pricing, however, firmly positions the Displace Wall as a commercial-focused product, with the 110-inch model priced at $39,999 and the 130-inch version reaching $59,999.
