Eufy’s New Indoor Cam E30 Elevates HomeKit Security
Anker’s Eufy has surprised many by releasing its second HomeKit-compatible security camera in just a few months. The Eufy Indoor Cam E30, now priced at $69.99 (or $59.99 for Prime members), brings an impressive set of features for home security enthusiasts.
This indoor camera boasts a motorized pan-tilt-zoom lens that allows it to capture a wider area of the room, all while offering 4K video resolution—though HomeKit users are limited to 1080p. The camera is equipped with an integrated spotlight for color night vision and can automatically switch to infrared when necessary. AI features help it detect both people and pets, and it can even pick up on specific audio cues like a crying baby. Additionally, the E30 supports two-way audio for real-time communication.
Storage options are flexible with the E30: local storage is available through an SD card (no subscription required), but cloud storage plans are also offered for those who prefer the convenience of remote access, starting at $2.99 per month. Additionally, the camera integrates with Eufy’s HomeBase S380, which provides extensive storage and facial recognition capabilities.
