Lenovo’s affordable Snapdragon laptop hits all-time low: $449.99 for today only
Windows on Arm has long promised a new breed of sleek, long-lasting laptops—but when the first Snapdragon-powered models hit shelves, many carried price tags that didn’t quite match the midrange or budget expectations. That’s finally starting to change, and today’s one-day-only deal at Best Buy is a perfect example. The 15-inch Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3x, originally priced at $749.99, is now just $449.99. This deep discount makes it one of the most affordable ways to experience a Copilot+ PC powered by Snapdragon hardware.
This particular model is notable for its Snapdragon X processor, which helps deliver phenomenal battery life and snappy performance for everyday tasks. It’s one of the most affordable Copilot+ PCs on the market, giving you access to AI-enhanced features like Recall, Live Captions, and AI-powered editing tools—without needing to spend north of $1,000. And with 16GB of RAM, it’s well-equipped to handle multitasking and modern apps on Windows 11. While the 256GB SSD might feel a bit limiting for large files or game libraries, it’s acceptable for cloud-first users and general productivity.
What helps this laptop stand out even more is its 1920×1200 resolution display—offering more vertical space than typical 1080p panels—plus a spacious keyboard that includes a number pad. That makes it ideal for office work, writing, and document editing. The port selection is surprisingly robust, too, with a full-size SD card reader (rare at this price), two USB-A ports, one USB-C, and an HDMI output.
Just keep in mind that gaming isn’t the Slim 3x’s strong suit. Snapdragon chips are excellent for battery life and AI-powered workflows, but still lag behind x86 rivals when it comes to running traditional PC games or demanding 3D software. However, for school, remote work, streaming, and everyday use, this laptop checks nearly all the boxes—and does so in a lightweight, quiet, fanless design.
