Lenovo Legion Pro Laptops: Unleashing Power and Innovation for 2025

At CES 2025, Lenovo revealed an exciting lineup of Legion gaming laptops that combine cutting-edge hardware and enhanced cooling solutions to deliver a next-level gaming experience. These new laptops feature Nvidia’s 50-series GPUs, the latest Intel and AMD processors, and stunning OLED displays, setting the stage for immersive gameplay and content creation.

The Legion Pro 5i and Pro 7i are set to become the flagship models in Lenovo’s 2025 Legion series. Both laptops feature a 16-inch 1600p OLED display, powered by Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processors. The Pro 5i offers up to 32GB DDR5 RAM and GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics, while the Pro 7i steps up the performance with 64GB DDR5 RAM and GeForce RTX 5090 graphics, making it a powerhouse for gamers and creators alike. With these high-performance components, both models are designed to handle the most demanding applications and games.

To complement the powerful hardware, Lenovo has implemented advanced cooling systems to ensure optimal performance during extended gaming sessions. The Pro 7i comes with Lenovo’s Legion Coldfront Vapor technology, capable of dissipating 250 watts of thermal power, while the Pro 5i relies on the Coldfront Hyper system to manage 200 watts of thermal output. These cooling solutions ensure that the laptops stay cool even during the most intense gaming moments.

For gamers looking for more options, the Legion Pro 5 is an AMD-powered alternative. It comes with an AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 GPU, offering 32GB RAM and 2TB of PCIe SSD storage. While it is 13% thinner and lighter than its predecessor, it still weighs in at 5.58 pounds. The Pro 5 features Lenovo’s Coldfront Hyper cooling system, ensuring that the laptop can handle heat dissipation up to 200 watts. The Legion Pro 5 also boasts 24-zone RGB lighting, an 80Wh battery, and an Eclipse Black colorway, making it a stylish yet powerful device.

The Pro 7i will launch in March 2025 for $2,399, while the Pro 5i will be available in May 2025 starting at $1,499. The Legion Pro 5 will follow with a release in June 2025, priced from $1,399. These new Legion laptops are sure to make waves in the gaming world with their impressive performance and innovative features.
