MyVelo TV Premiere: The Streaming Box for Cord-Cutters

The MyVelo TV Premiere streaming box combines the convenience of Android TV with ATSC 3.0 tuner integration, making over-the-air TV accessible without additional devices or input switching. Announced at CES 2025 and priced at $100, the device features a USB dongle with an ATSC 3.0 tuner, enabling users to enjoy 4K broadcasts, HDR content, and advanced Dolby audio.

Unlike traditional streaming boxes that bypass over-the-air content, MyVelo TV bridges the gap with its built-in app, supporting free local channels via antenna. An optional DVR service, available for less than $5/month, adds recording capabilities and extends TV guide data to 14 days. Future upgrades, such as a dual tuner and 5G home internet module, hint at ambitious plans to redefine streaming and over-the-air TV.

With its competitive price and innovative integration, the MyVelo TV Premiere could play a pivotal role in making ATSC 3.0 more appealing to mainstream audiences, offering a cost-effective alternative to standalone tuners and DVR solutions.
