Google is expanding the AI capabilities of its popular Google Forms platform, building on the features it introduced earlier this summer. The company announced that its Gemini AI will now play a more active role in helping users create surveys by suggesting new questions and potential answer options. This enhancement aims to make survey creation faster and more intuitive, particularly for users who want to ensure their forms are comprehensive and engaging.

Once a user creates a survey and adds at least two questions, a new button will appear beneath their existing questions. By clicking it, Gemini will instantly generate between two and four additional relevant questions, along with possible answers, allowing creators to expand and refine their surveys with minimal effort. Google says this will help streamline the process and reduce the need for repetitive manual input.

The feature has already begun rolling out to Rapid Release domains, while Scheduled Release domains will start receiving it on August 19. However, the rollout will take place gradually, and Google notes it may take up to 15 days for the feature to appear in all accounts. This update marks another step in Google’s ongoing integration of AI across its Workspace apps, making them more efficient and user-friendly.
