    Asus Snapdragon-powered Zenbook A14 drops to $650

Asus Zenbook A14 Just Hit a New Low at $649—A Killer Deal for This Featherlight OLED Laptop

The Asus Zenbook A14 caught plenty of attention when it was first unveiled, and now it’s finally priced to match its appeal. Originally priced well over $1,000, the sleek and supremely efficient laptop is now just $649.99 at Best Buy—a full $350 discount and the lowest price we’ve seen to date for the 16GB RAM model.

Designed as Asus’ answer to the MacBook Air, the Zenbook A14 boasts a 14-inch 1200p OLED display, a Snapdragon X processor, 16GB of memory, and 512GB of storage. It’s not a touchscreen, but the OLED panel more than makes up for that with punchy visuals and deep blacks. Weighing only 2.16 pounds, it’s one of the lightest laptops on the market, and the sand-colored “ceraluminum” chassis gives it a distinctive aesthetic that stands out from the usual silver-and-gray crowd.

What really puts the Zenbook A14 in a league of its own, however, is the phenomenal battery life. With a massive 70 watt-hour battery packed into its ultra-slim chassis, the laptop manages up to 24 hours of runtime in benchmark tests—performance that rivals or beats even premium ultrabooks that cost hundreds more.

Of course, it’s not a perfect all-rounder. The Snapdragon X chip in this configuration is the base model with eight CPU cores and integrated graphics. It’s built for battery efficiency and fanless operation rather than raw horsepower. That means while it’s great for office work, video streaming, and light productivity, it won’t keep up with demanding creative software or modern 3D games. And though Windows on Arm has come a long way, there are still occasional hiccups with older or more niche x86 applications.

Still, for those looking for a truly mobile companion with a brilliant display, an eye-catching design, and battery life that goes the distance, this deal is tough to beat. The $649.99 price tag is $100 lower than the previous best deal we’ve seen on the same spec, making this an ideal time to pick it up—especially before Prime Day price wars kick off.

If you’ve been considering a lightweight laptop for travel, school, or all-day productivity, the Zenbook A14 now deserves a serious look.
