Corsair Launches Gaming Mouse With Built-In Stream Deck Button

Corsair has announced the new Corsair Nightsword V2 Wireless SD, a gaming mouse that integrates directly with Elgato’s popular Stream Deck ecosystem. The device is the first mouse to feature a dedicated Stream Deck activation button, giving users instant access to shortcuts, macros and productivity tools.

The new mouse is aimed at gamers, streamers and content creators who regularly rely on custom commands and workflow automation.

    Dedicated Stream Deck Access

The standout feature is a dedicated button that launches a virtual Stream Deck interface directly on-screen.

With a single press, users can access:

    • Custom macros
    • Streaming controls
    • Application shortcuts
    • Productivity tools
    • Gaming commands

The functionality is powered by Elgato, whose Stream Deck platform has become one of the most widely used control systems among streamers and creators.

    Eight Programmable Buttons

The Nightsword V2 Wireless SD includes eight programmable buttons that can be customized through Elgato’s Marketplace and software ecosystem.

    Users can assign:

    • Keyboard shortcuts
    • Application launches
    • Media controls
    • Multi-action macros
    • Streaming commands

This allows the mouse to serve as both a gaming peripheral and a workflow productivity tool.

    High-End Sensor Specifications

Corsair equips the mouse with its proprietary Marksman S optical sensor, featuring:

    • Up to 33,000 DPI sensitivity
    • 750 IPS tracking speed
    • 50G acceleration

These specifications place the Nightsword V2 Wireless SD firmly in the premium gaming category, targeting competitive players who demand precise tracking and responsiveness.

    8,000Hz Polling Rate

The mouse supports polling rates up to 8,000Hz in both wired and wireless modes.

A higher polling rate allows the mouse to communicate position data to the PC more frequently, reducing input latency and improving responsiveness during fast-paced gameplay.

While many gaming mice operate at 1,000Hz, 8,000Hz has increasingly become a feature of flagship gaming peripherals.

    Battery Life and Availability

Corsair claims battery life of up to 170 hours with RGB lighting disabled.

The Nightsword V2 Wireless SD is available now with a retail price of $129.99, while shipments are expected to begin around July 27, 2026.

    Targeting Gamers and Streamers

The combination of high-end gaming hardware and Stream Deck integration reflects the growing overlap between gaming, content creation and productivity workflows.

Rather than forcing users to reach for a separate control pad, Corsair’s latest mouse aims to place those controls directly under the user’s fingertips, potentially making streaming and multitasking more efficient without sacrificing gaming performance.
