EcoFlow Delta Pro full home backup system, built around the SHP 3, is designed to deliver a much more comprehensive solution for managing household power during outages. Unlike earlier setups that only supported essential circuits, this newer system aims to function as a complete replacement for a traditional electrical panel while adding smart energy management capabilities.
One of the biggest upgrades in the SHP 3 is its expanded circuit capacity, increasing from 12 to 32 circuits. This significant jump allows it to support a far wider range of home appliances and systems at once, making it suitable for whole-home backup rather than just selective emergency use.
In addition to its increased circuit support, the SHP 3 also delivers up to 200A capacity, compared to the SHP 2’s 100A limit for essential loads. This improvement enables it to handle high-demand appliances and larger electrical loads, including systems like air conditioning, which are typically difficult to support during outages.
In practical use, the SHP 3 can replace an existing main electrical panel, serving as both a backup power gateway and an energy monitoring hub. While the SHP 2 can still be retained for cost efficiency and existing circuit setups, the SHP 3 represents a more advanced, integrated approach to whole-home power backup and management.
