Kyndryl Facilitates Creditis Financial Services’ Digital Transformation with Microsoft Azure

Empowering Financial Innovation through Cloud Migration

Kyndryl has played a pivotal role in accelerating Creditis Financial Services’ digital transformation journey by migrating its application development environment to Microsoft Azure. As an intermediary specializing in consumer credit for private clients, Creditis sought to streamline its operations and enhance agility by leveraging cloud technology.

Already leveraging Microsoft cloud services, Creditis embraced the Kyndryl Power to Azure with Skytap solution to transition its development and testing environments from on-premises systems hosted in Kyndryl’s data centers to the cloud. This move enabled Creditis to run its systems in the cloud more efficiently and rapidly.

Matteo Taglioni, Vice President of Financial Services and Sector Leader at Kyndryl Italy, emphasized the benefits of simplifying workload migration to the cloud, citing improvements in innovation, scalability, operational performance, and cost optimization. He noted that for Creditis, a young yet established financial company, this transition equates to the ability to better and more swiftly respond to customer needs.

The project not only laid the foundation for migrating Creditis’ remaining on-premises systems but also delivered immediate benefits such as flexibility, efficiency, and modernization.

Mauro Ersini and Davide Izzo, Chief Information Officer and Chief Technology Officer of Creditis respectively, praised the adoption of Kyndryl’s new service for its flexibility, scalability, and operational ease. They underscored the importance of high-security systems in the cloud service, emphasizing Creditis’ commitment to cybersecurity. They view this project as a significant milestone in Creditis’ ongoing innovation journey.
