Logitech is gearing up to release a new PC accessory that mirrors the Elgato Stream Deck but is tailored specifically for enhancing control and productivity in photo, video, and audio editing. According to The Verge, this new offering is named the MX Creative Console and consists of two distinct devices.
The first device is a keypad featuring nine dynamic LCD buttons, which can be configured to launch applications or carry out specific actions within each application. With two additional paging buttons, users can easily scroll through 15 pages, allowing for a total of 135 customizable actions per app.
Accompanying the keypad is a customizable dial designed for a range of scrolling functions, such as adjusting brush sizes in Photoshop, navigating timelines in Premiere Pro, or zooming in and out in Lightroom. Four additional buttons surrounding the dial provide quick access to frequently used actions, like undoing recent edits.
Logitech has created custom plugins for Adobe’s leading applications, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom Classic, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Audition. Users can customize their buttons and pages through Logitech’s dedicated app, tailoring the console to their specific needs.
The Logitech MX Creative Console is available for pre-order in Pale Grey and Graphite colors at a price of $199.99. Each order comes with a three-month subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud All Apps, with shipments expected to begin on October 14, 2024.
