Lenovo is doubling down on high-performance portable gaming with the debut of the Legion Pro 7 16 Gen 10 at IFA 2025. This latest entry in the Legion family is powered by AMD’s new Ryzen 9 9000 HX series, bringing desktop-class computing to a laptop form factor that’s as much a creative workstation as it is a gaming powerhouse.

The centerpiece of this release is the Ryzen 9 9955HX3D, one of AMD’s most advanced processors to date, built to deliver smooth experiences in cutting-edge games while also excelling in heavy creative applications such as video editing, 3D rendering, and streaming. Backing it up is NVIDIA’s RTX 5080 GPU, which ensures support for ray tracing, AI-driven graphics features, and enough horsepower to keep upcoming AAA titles running at max settings. To handle the extreme heat these components generate, Lenovo has equipped the machine with its Legion Coldfront: Vapor system, featuring hyperchamber cooling that enables up to 275W of sustained thermal design power—a clear sign that this laptop is optimized for high-performance sessions without throttling.

On the visual side, the 16-inch 2560×1600 OLED display is a standout feature, combining vivid contrast and color with gaming-level responsiveness. With a 240Hz refresh rate and an ultrafast 0.08ms response time, it’s designed for both buttery-smooth gameplay and professional-grade accuracy for creative tasks. Add in up to 32GB of DDR5 memory and 2TB of PCIe Gen 5 SSD storage, and the Legion Pro 7 16 Gen 10 becomes a highly versatile machine capable of tackling just about any workload you throw at it.

Running Windows 11, the laptop benefits from Microsoft’s latest security and productivity tools, but the real story here is synergy: how the CPU, GPU, memory, and storage combine to create a performance-focused system that feels almost limitless in its capabilities. Slated to launch in November 2025 with a starting price of $2,399, the Lenovo Legion Pro 7 16 Gen 10 is positioned as a premium option for gamers and creators alike, blending raw power with thoughtful engineering in a sleek portable design.
