The Samsung Galaxy Book 6 Ultra builds on the design of its predecessor, the Galaxy Book5 Pro, with only subtle visual updates. Measuring 14.05 x 9.76 x 0.6 inches and weighing just under four pounds, the laptop is slightly larger but remains sleek and portable. Samsung also reworked the internal PCB layout to better distribute weight, allowing the device to easily pass the one-finger lift test, which is a testament to its thoughtful engineering.
The 16-inch AMOLED 3K touchscreen display remains largely unchanged from the previous generation, which is a deliberate choice. It still offers 1,000 nits peak HDR brightness, an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, and Corning Gorilla Glass DXC for added durability. Samsung clearly recognized the display as one of the Galaxy Book5 Pro’s standout features and made sure it carried over to the Ultra, delivering vivid colors and sharp visuals for both work and entertainment.
Audio, however, is where the Galaxy Book6 Ultra sees meaningful upgrades. The laptop now features a six-speaker system, consisting of four force-canceling woofers and two tweeters. This configuration produces room-filling, crisp sound, with instruments and vocals remaining clear even at high volumes. The design of the woofers helps control distortion, ensuring a more immersive audio experience for movies, games, and music.
That said, the bass output could use improvement. While the sound is clear and precise, the low-end response feels restrained, which impacts music genres like rap or electronic tracks where punchy bass is essential. Despite this minor shortcoming, the Galaxy Book6 Ultra offers one of the best overall Windows laptop experiences on the market, combining sleek design, stunning display quality, and powerful audio performance.
