Pixel 9’s Add Me Feature Revolutionizes Group Photos

Google’s Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold now come with a game-changing feature called Add Me, designed to solve the problem of who takes the group photo. This new function allows you to create a single image with everyone included by merging two separate shots. Through the use of augmented reality and AI, Add Me ensures that no one is left out of your photos.

To use this feature, first, ensure your device’s software and the Pixel Camera app are up to date. Open the camera app, select Add Me from the options below the shutter button, and take an initial photo with everyone except one person. Next, switch places so that the missing person is now in the frame, and capture the second image. The Add Me feature will then automatically combine these photos to create a final image that includes everyone.

This feature offers a convenient alternative to asking strangers for help with photos and allows for creative uses, such as making it appear as if one person appears twice in the same picture. You can find the final result in your Photos app once the process is complete.
