Google Forms got a taste of AI-powered magic earlier this summer, with new features that helped make creating surveys a bit easier. Now, Google is doubling down and bringing even more AI goodness to Forms, helping users build surveys faster and smarter than ever.
Here’s what’s new: once you’ve made a survey and typed in at least two questions, Google’s Gemini AI will pitch in by suggesting additional questions and answer choices. You’ll see a handy new button right below your existing questions—click it, and Gemini will whip up two to four new questions that fit the theme and flow of your survey.
This means less guesswork and brainstorming on your part, especially if you’re new to making surveys or want some fresh ideas to improve response rates. The AI can catch patterns and topics in your current questions and offer smart, relevant additions that you might not have thought of.
Right now, this feature is rolling out to Google Workspace users on the Rapid Release track, with Scheduled Release users getting access starting August 19th. As with most Google updates, it can take up to two weeks from rollout for the feature to show up in your account, so don’t worry if you don’t see it immediately. When it arrives, your survey-building workflow will become a little smoother and a lot more collaborative—between you and AI.
