Star Wars fans and LEGO enthusiasts have a new centerpiece to obsess over: the LEGO Death Star Ultimate Collector Series (75419). This mammoth set measures 20.5 x 18.9 x 15.1 inches and contains 9,023 pieces, making it one of LEGO’s largest ever. Only a few mega sets, including the Eiffel Tower 10307 and Titanic 10294, boast more pieces, and this is the largest LEGO Star Wars set in history.
The set recreates classic moments from the first Star Wars film, allowing builders to explore iconic sections like Leia’s cell, the Emperor’s throne room, the tractor beam control room, the famous rubbish chute, and the Imperial shuttle hangar. While the interior is incredibly detailed, the exterior has been described as a “death disc” rather than a full spherical Death Star.
Included in the set are 38 minifigures, such as Luke Skywalker in both Jedi and Stormtrooper disguises, Han Solo, Princess Leia, Darth Vader, Emperor Palpatine, and two droids. LEGO highlights the interactive potential of the set: fans can recreate famous battles, swing across bridges, or simply admire the Death Star’s architecture.
Availability and pricing: LEGO Insiders will have early access starting October 1st, 2025, with a general release on October 4th, 2025. The set costs $999.99, but early purchasers between October 1–7 can receive a free LEGO Star Wars TIE Fighter with Imperial Hangar Rack, while supplies last, and earn 7,500 Insider Points. Additionally, a limited-edition poster—the largest Star Wars poster LEGO has ever made, at 31.5 x 23.6 inches—will be available for 5,000 Insider Points, with only 5,000 copies worldwide.
