InkPoster Unveiled: A New Era of Eco-Friendly, Digital Art Displays

At CES 2025, the InkPoster was introduced as the world’s first digital color ePaper poster. Developed through a collaboration between PocketBook, E Ink, and Sharp, this innovative display technology aims to provide a low-power and high-resolution alternative to traditional LCD displays, offering an eco-friendly solution for digital art and information displays.

The core of the InkPoster is the E Ink Spectra 6 screen, a cutting-edge display technology that delivers vibrant, true-to-life colors, offering a genuine ink-on-paper experience. What sets this system apart is its energy-efficient design: the InkPoster only consumes power when updating the image. Once the display is set, it uses zero power to maintain static images, allowing for a battery life of up to one year on a single charge. This creates a maintenance-free experience while making the InkPoster an environmentally friendly choice.

The InkPoster comes in three models designed for different needs and spaces. The 31.5-inch flagship model is priced at $2,400 and boasts a 2560 × 1440 resolution, ideal for large, immersive installations. The 28.5-inch model comes in at $1,700 and features Sharp’s IGZO technology, enhancing image updates and flexibility for various use cases. For more intimate or portable settings, the 13.3-inch model, priced at $599, provides portability while maintaining the sophisticated aesthetic and advanced technology of its larger counterparts.

Each model is encased in a durable aluminum frame with a matte finish for glare-free viewing, and includes a dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4/5GHz) adapter along with USB-C charging. The InkPoster app offers access to thousands of curated artworks, allowing users to display everything from classic masterpieces to contemporary designs. It also provides the option to upload personal images or NFTs, giving users the ability to personalize their display.

Versatile in design, the InkPoster can be used either vertically or horizontally, adapting to various room layouts and styles. With its low-energy consumption, long-lasting battery, and stunning image quality, the InkPoster is perfect for eco-conscious consumers looking for a blend of art, technology, and sustainability. Set to launch in mid-spring 2025, the InkPoster is primed to redefine how we integrate digital art into our living spaces.
