    March Update for GTA V on PC Brings Ray Tracing and Stunning Visuals

    Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online Upgrade with Ray Tracing and More

    It’s been 12 years since Grand Theft Auto V was first released, and while the PC version came a little later than the console versions, it remains a favorite among gamers worldwide. On March 4th, the game is getting a major upgrade, with new visual options, including the highly anticipated addition of ray tracing.

    As noted by Tom’s Hardware, ray tracing visuals were already available in the special editions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. However, PC players will have access to even more advanced features, including ambient occlusion and global illumination, which will enhance lighting and reflections. To keep performance smooth, Nvidia DLSS 2 and AMD FSR1/FSR3 will be added, giving players the option to upscale graphics without sacrificing frame rates. You can also look forward to new higher-resolution and aspect ratio options, making sure the game looks great on modern monitors.

    That said, the enhanced features come with some higher hardware requirements. Rockstar recommends a Core i5-9600K or Ryzen 5 3600 processor, paired with a Nvidia RTX 3060 or AMD RX 6600XT graphics card and at least 16GB of RAM. To enjoy the game at its highest settings, you’ll need even more power under the hood.

    This update isn’t just about the visuals—there will also be new vehicles, tuning options, wildlife interactions, a new photography challenge, and additional career progress in GTA Online.

    As for Grand Theft Auto VI, it was officially announced in 2022 and is expected to be released for consoles in late 2025, though no PC version has been confirmed as of now.
